Learn About Our #1 Debt Relief Company: CuraDebt
Debt is suffocating. It’s one of those things that impacts every area of your life. It also tends to snowball, once you’re stretched beyond your means it seems like the only thing to do is keep using those credit cards. Everyone knows it’s just digging you deeper but it seems like there’s no other option. There are companies out there that can help reduce your debt and we’ve compiled a list of debt consolidation reviews to help sort it out.
So what does a debt consolidation company do? In simple terms, they negotiate with your creditors to reduce the amount you own. Why would creditors take less? Because they know that there is a risk of bankruptcy and them getting nothing. So the debt consolidation service gets you a lower amount, will often pay off the debt, and you pay them plus a fee.
It’s not for everyone but for some it can really take the pressure off. Below are FixYourFinancials.com’s debt consolidation reviews, both the good and the bad.
Debt Consolidation Reviews
#1 CuraDebt
CuraDebt isn’t as big of a name as some of the other debt consolidation companies we reviewed but they beat out the competitors. We liked their professional service and were very happy with the results. Read our full review to find out more about CuraDebt.
#2 National Debt Relief
National Debt Relief is one of the best-known companies in the industry. We had a good experience with them but there’s a pretty vocal group of customers that say otherwise. Part of this is being one of the biggest, you’re going to get individuals that aren’t happy, but it’s still something to keep in mind.
#3 Freedom Debt Relief
Freedom Debt Relief is a solid choice when you need help with overwhelming debt even with their 3rd place finish. There were no real issues with them, we just saw better results with our top reviewed companies.
Accredited Debt Relief
No Rating
Accredited Debt Relief doesn’t actually provide debt relief themselves. They take your info and match you to other services. You can read our review but we choose not to give them an actual rating for this reason.
Progressive Debt Relief
No Rating
Progressive Debt Relief gets a “no rating” from us because they are missing a lot of important info (pricing, where they operate, etc.). They also don’t seem to be accredited and have a very dated website.
