The Progressive Debt Relief Review
The first thing we noticed when we got to the Progressive website is that it’s old. The copyright at the bottom says 2010 and it looks like that may have been the last time it was really updated. Now we’re not saying to discount them for that but to us, it does say something when every competitor has a nice modern site.
One of the recurring themes with the company is that things are pretty vague. Most debt consolidation companies have states they can and can’t operate in. Progressive doesn’t say.
Another thing is that they don’t have prices listed. Usually, you’ll at least get a range of prices, anywhere from 15% to 30% of the settled debt is pretty typical. Progressive just says they fees will be explained once you sign up.
Now we don’t want to just bash them. They do have a good deal of positive reviews out there. But when comparing them to the competitors they seem behind the times and don’t give out a lot of information that we’d consider crucial to making an informed decision.
Accreditation
We were not able to find any accreditation for Progressive Debt Relief. Most of the top companies are members of The International Association of Professional Debt Arbitrators, The American Fair Credit Council or both.
We’re guessing they are not accredited because normally when a company is they feature this fact in a pretty obvious fashion.
