Veracity Credit was started in 1998. At one time Veracity was a service we would have readily recommended but there have been some pretty major issues since we last tested them. A mix of poor reviews and legal action brought against both the company and individuals within the company. Read the Veracity Credit review to see what happened.
Credit Repair Ability: 
Veracity performed basically the same services as the other online credit repair companies did. They identify and dispute credit reporting errors. We had decent results with them but it didn’t top our list.
Ease of Use:
Their website was easy to navigate but overall it feels pretty dated at this point compared to some of the other services. Our guess is that some of the recent issues have put site updates on the back burner.
Customer Support: 
The customer support staff that we talked to was polite and knowledgeable. But on more than one occasion we ended up waiting significant lengths of time to get responses. All-in-all not bad but could be improved.

Select: $49/mo + $69 Setup Fee
Veracity’s standard credit repair plan, which includes unlimited disputes and online account management.
Platinum: $79/mo + $99 Setup Fee
This is Veracity’s top level program which includes priority processing. Includes same services as Select, plus unlimited creditor intervention, collection intervention, and customized credit optimization plan.

BBB Reviews
The Veracity Credit BBB page is pretty rough. They have 3 positive reviews, 7 negative reviews, and 30 complaints. Overall they have an F rating.
Right at the top of the page, there is a pending court case against two individuals from the company. It involves tax evasion and fraud. Granted it has not been settled but still, it doesn’t bode well.
Additionally, Veracity settled a court case in 2011 in Colorado involving fees they charged.

Google reviews weren’t much better, they averaged 2.5 out of 5.

With mediocre reviews across the web and a variety of legal action levied against the company and individuals representing them, it’s hard to recommend Veracity Credit. This dropped the overall score. Honestly, even if they did an amazing job we can’t see any reason to recommend them over our higher ranked services, like Sky Blue. We’ll mark this one down as a credit repair service you’d be best to avoid.
