The Freedom Debt Relief Review
Freedom is one of the oldest and largest debt relief companies. They’ve been in business for 15 years and employ over 900 people. While this alone doesn’t mean they provide a good service, it does give a good indication that they are doing something right.
Debt consolidation and settlement companies don’t have the best reputation. Some bad players have ripped off customers and then vanished. Freedom is not one of these companies.
Our experience with Freedom Debt Relief was a good one. They were able to cut down the debts of our tester and were treated in a professional manner. They were kept informed of progress with their accounts and were given clear instructions on any action they needed to take.
Their fees range from 15% to 25%, which is pretty standard with other companies in the debt relief industry. We were charged 20% on the total of our debts.
We had a bit better results overall with Curadebt, they were able to cut the debts down by about 10% more. While these were our results every situation is different and your results could vary.

Freedom has an A+ with the BBB and is accredited.
Freedom Debt Relief is a member of the AFCC (American Fair Credit Council). In 2010 the AFCC worked with the Federal Trade Commission establish guidelines to cut down on abusive debt settlement practices.
Freedom is able to service individuals in all states except the following: VT, CT, GA, ME, NH, NJ, RI, WV, IL, SC, OR, WA.
The company did run into some trouble in the state of New Hampshire a few years back. It seems they were providing services without the proper licensing. The matter was cleared up though and Freedom no longer operates in New Hampshire.
