They Have a Mascot!
So most payday lenders take themselves pretty seriously, and rightfully so. But for some reason, Speedy Cash has a mascot. His name is Roo, as you can probably guess, is a kangaroo. He goes around to different stores and does whatever a payday loan mascot does.
To me this seems a bit like Joe Camel, using a cartoon character to make something that’s bad for you seem pretty fun. Granted payday loans aren’t going to give you cancer but you’re probably best to avoid them just the same.
